Hi, I’m Vanessa, professional makeup artist specializing in polished, wearable makeup application for events and special occasions.

My journey with makeup began in high school through beauty pageants and special events, and continued alongside my professional career. While pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Speech, I worked with makeup clients, refining both my artistry and my ability to connect confidently with people.

I later managed the day-to-day operations of a law office, overseeing executive support, client relationships, and business logistics. In parallel, I spent five years providing makeup services to cancer survivors and patients through the Beauty Bus Foundation, including pop-up salons throughout California and at Paramount Studios, and was honored as Beauty Professional of the Year in 2019.

During the COVID era, I pivoted to education, leading makeup lessons for groups of 30+ guests at a time, as well as offering smaller groups and personalized one-on-one instruction. This evolution shaped the instructional, confidence-building approach that defines my work today.

My approach to makeup is refined, calm, and tailored. I focus on enhancing your natural features in a way that feels elevated but still like you, never overdone, never uncomfortable. Whether it’s for an event, night out, or special moment, my goal is for you to feel confident, comfortable, and beautifully put together.

In addition to makeup application, I also offer personalized makeup lessons for clients who want to better understand how to do their own makeup. Lessons are one-on-one and focused on creating an easy everyday routine, with simple ways to elevate it when needed.

For select events, I offer formal hair styling such as updos and event styling, allowing clients to book a coordinated hair and makeup experience.
